Biography
Steve is currently a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft with over 25 years of experience in IT and cloud technologies. He currently works on the Microsoft Purview team focusing on customer experiences with information protection and data loss prevention workloads.

Steve joined Microsoft in 2004 first as a contractor in small business services and later directory services support and then became a full-time employee in 2006, working for several years eventually as an escalation engineer working with System Center and Virtualization products. He then moved to Microsoft Consulting Services in 2012 and consulted for several years as an application and Windows deployment specialist working with primarily oil and gas, as well as financial services customers. He joined the Intune product team in 2018 and helped drive deployments and insights for both co-management & fully cloud-managed Windows devices.

Steve is based out of Fort Worth, Texas. He is married to Twyla Robinson, a vocal professor, fellow cat person, and recording artist of classical and operatic music. Steve, himself, is a classically-trained horn player and composer. He has three children: Mia, Matthias, and Lincoln. He recently acquired a daughter-in-law, Cassie, and she and Lincoln are expecting their first child, due in October of 2024. When he does have spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, bourbon, music, and is an avid fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team.

Steve has a BA in Music and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from UNC-Greensboro and is a current MBA candidate at Texas Christian University.
